Job Description:

This person will engage in a high degree of collaboration and communication with engineering, program managers, finance, manufacturing, quality assurance, and other supply chain departments. This person will work with key internal stakeholders to understand their sourcing and procurement needs. This role will report to the Sr Manager, Subcontracts and is responsible for full spectrum of buying and procurement lifecycle management including MRP analysis, PO placement and supply reporting for multiple programs. Make sure all procurements meet and are in compliance with corporate and L3Harris policies and procedures

Essential Functions:

Issuing subcontracts, managing supplier performance, reviewing and assisting in the creation of Statements of Work, Price/Cost Analysis, Terms and Price Negotiation, tracking financial performance, ensuring material and services are completed on schedule and within budget.Experience in Procurement/Subcontracts, with experience buying under FAR regulationsNegotiate costs and lead timesResponsible for Performance relating to quality, cost, and schedule for Purchase OrdersManage Subcontracts placed with Suppliers (Internal and external)Effectively interact with other functional groups, Quality, Operations, Engineering, Production, Finance.Assisting less experienced buyers with resolving problems.Executing and supporting, where required, negotiations of purchase orders

Qualifications:

Strong Proficiency in SAPExperience with FAR/DFAR, including the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)Government Contract/Subcontract experienceGreat communication and Negotiating skillsEffectively manage multiple competing prioritiesMust be a US CitizenRequires proficient knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management. Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
