Prudential is seeking a Specialist, Talent Analytics for its Employee Insights Center of Excellence (COE) in Human Resources. Reporting to the Director of Talent Analytics, this role supports enterprise-wide talent analytics projects and translates people data into actionable insights. The Talent Analytics Specialist is responsible for the technical aspects of collecting, integrating and analyzing large sets of workforce data, and assists in developing research methodologies and preparing data illustrations and reports. The ideal candidate will blend strategic thinking and analytical skills to create automated solutions and scale Employee Insights’ ability to deliver workforce analytics to key stakeholders, aligning with HR and business priorities. 

The current EWA for this position is Hybrid if you are within a commutable distance to our Newark, NJ location. Virtual candidates will also be considered.

 

Key Responsibilities 

Support analytics projects from design, requirements gathering, and planning to data analyses, final reports/presentations and communication of results. 

Field data requests from business partners to help develop future strategic talent priorities and fulfill administrative, regulatory or business reporting needs (e.g., surveys, RFPs, 10K filings, etc.) 

Influence the development and build and maintain reporting and dashboards/scorecards to provide ongoing insights about our workforce 

Partner with Employee Insights consultants to determine data needs that drive narratives and data-based storytelling 

Help identify and drive data quality improvement and additional data collection opportunities across multiple systems 

 

Qualifications 

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university 

1-3 years of relevant workforce analytics experience preferred; familiarity with talent acquisition data a plus 

Visier experience, including back-end knowledge (Visier developer certification/Extend/Enhance) preferred  

Workday HCM, ATS, and Workday Report Writing (advanced, matrix, composite) highly desirable 

Experience with any programming language manipulating data with a focus on process improvement and reproducibility, including but not limited to SAS, Python, R, SQL  

Experience and comfort with confidentiality around handling employee data 

Ability to translate data into easy-to-understand output (tool/solution/presentation) 

Strong technical acumen with ability to learn quickly 

What we offer you:Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $90,100.00 to $134,100.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
