Specialist, Talent Development- Direct Sales
Overall Job Summary

This position is responsible for the coordination, delivery and support of all training solutions for Tractor Supply Company (TSC). This position works collaboratively with Talent Development Managers and Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs), assisting in developing the knowledge, skills, and abilities of TSC team members by coordinating and delivering training programs that add to the overall success of the business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%) Organize and deliver administrative support for all training programs through the company’s learning management system, including building and maintaining a training program calendar, scheduling facilitators, executing enrollment processes, controlling training material inventory and supporting budget activities such as invoicing and expense reporting. Organize and deliver logistical support for all training programs through TSC’s travel and event planning partners, including providing customer service for all training program participants, managing travel accommodations based on TSC policy and procedure, and coordinating the on-site experience of all training program participants such as meals and transportation. Deliver live training events in multiple settings including classroom, conference call, web conference, etc. Participate in the updating and maintaining of training content based on business needs.

 

Required Qualifications

Experience: 2 years of experience in coordinating and administering training programs.   Retail operations experience is preferred.

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in HR Development, Organizational Development, Adult Education or related field is preferred.  Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities Knowledge of adult learning theory. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software tools. Knowledge of a Learning Management System (LMS).
