Your Team & Role

As a Specialist, Technology Risk Management on the IT Operational Risk team, you will collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the governance and management of risk processes within our technology operations. You will play a crucial role in implementing and optimizing risk management frameworks and ensuring their effective application across the organization. Your expertise in risk management, combined with your problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, will help promote a robust risk culture throughout the enterprise.

Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day

Support the implementation and governance of risk management processes, including issues management, exceptions management, technology standards, and key risk indicator reporting.Optimize risk management processes to foster a culture of risk awareness and mitigation.Execute and oversee risk governance processes, working to identify, assess, aggregate, report, and escalate risks within the technology domain.Utilize your knowledge of relevant and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.Skilled in data analytics and dashboard creation to provide meaningful insights and support risk-informed decision making.

The Skills & Expertise You Bring

Bachelor’s degree or experience in related fieldsLeverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts and perspectives to the benefit of the organization   Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills 

Applied experience in several of the following:

Foundational understanding of risk management frameworks and industry standards.Proficiency in executing risk management processes, including issues management, exceptions management, technology standards, and key risk indicator reporting.Strong data analytical skills and experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI for creating dashboards.Strong knowledge and background in technology platforms and tools.

Preferred certifications

CRISC, CISA

What we offer you:Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $99,700.00 to $148,500.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
