Specialist, Training & Development Program, II
**Come join our amazing team !!!** **What you’ll do:** Responsible for developing and delivering a mortgage origination training program for participants that are new to the mortgage industry. Instructing and delivering technical and non-technical training to new and potentially existing employees making a career change, consistent with the business units and company-wide training policies and procedures. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, investor guidelines, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000. + Partner with mortgage lending originations leaders to develop and facilitate a formal program to clearly defined schedule. + Responsible for creating and/or using existing training classes in conjunction with newly developed content and determining the most effective method for delivery. + Build participants’ knowledge through instructor led classes and coaching with oversight of self-paced virtual learning and other effective training methods. + Support the development of exams to ensure mastery of the program modules and program completion. + As a part of the learning environment, coach employees on how to be successful when engaging with other team members, customers, and management. + Maintain knowledge of the mortgage origination policies, procedures, and practices to ensure the training program is up to date an accurate at all times. + Willingness and appetite to learn new functions and processes, and document workflows for instruction accuracy. + Continually monitor and request feedback on the program from the participants and well as the management staff that later manages the participants to continuously improve the program. **What you’ll need:** + Proven ability to facilitate professional classroom training that incorporates learner engagement and learning program management. + Superior ability to communicate and provide instruction to others accurately, both verbally and in writing + High Proficiency required for working with Microsoft Office Suite of applications, particularly Word and PowerPoint + General sales and lending technology experience with the ability to flex to learn and train multiple systems. + Excellent attention to detail in document research and content development for instruction + Strong organizational skills and collaboration skills + Solid record of accomplishment and proven ability to work with all levels of management. + Strategic thinker with the ability to align programs and projects with Carrington’s mission and vision. + Team player who enjoys collaborative work as well as individual responsibilities + Strong customer service orientation and high attention to detail + Bachelor's college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Four (4) plus years of experience in a Trainer role in related industry or business in the functional area(s) training on. + Three to five (3-5) years mortgage lending originations job experience, with knowledge of compliance requirements, Non-QM Products, overall process, and loan origination systems . + Demonstrated experience with ground up design and development of a full range of training programs, courses, resources, and engaging facilitation of training, both virtually and on-site. + Important attributes for this role include a high level of flexibility, positivity, and integrity, with the ability to easily communicate with executive leadership and new employees just getting started in a new career. **Our Company:** Carrington Mortgage Services is part of The Carrington Companies, which provide integrated, full-lifecycle mortgage loan servicing assistance to borrowers and investors, delivering exceptional customer care and programs that support borrowers and their homeownership experience.
