Let's talk about the role

We are seeking a highly motivated UX Designer to join the Global User Experience team at ResMed. You will use design thinking to drive innovative, user-centric solutions across our global ecosystem of products, services, and digital technology. Your passion for influencing business decisions through user empathy and shaping company culture and processes is essential. You will advocate for UX within a product team and demonstrate the value of design through your work and collaboration.

Understand and advocate for our users and their needs through building empathy, incorporating their behavior, attitudes, and emotions, leveraging research insights and domain analysis to craft meaningful solutionsPlan, facilitate and participate in discovery workshops and ongoing interaction with key stakeholders to develop user-centric solutionsDevelop concepts, sketches, wireframes, flows, journey maps, storyboards, and other design artifacts.Prototype and rapidly iterate semi-functional, low- to mid-fidelity designs based on user research, acknowledging technical feasibilityFacilitate the design process; including ideation sessions, design sprints, design studio; critiques and reviews, contributing to our global design system

Let's talk about you:

Strong online portfolio demonstrating user-centered design methods with examples of artifacts for digital, physical and/or services products e.g. lo-fi sketches, wireframes, flows, prototypes, storyboarding, journey maps, etc.Knowledge and/or experience working on AI/ML driven productsProven experience designing in an agile, fast-paced and collaborative environment alongside engineering and product managementFluent in modern collaboration, wireframing and prototyping toolsProven track record in delivering delightful and easy-to-use products and services based on user needs, using research to validate design decisionsAbility to travel up to 10%

Preferred:

Experience with planning, running and moderating user research studiesExperience with lean innovation and experimentationExperience working in the healthcare field and/or medical devicesBachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or equivalent professional experience as an interaction/user experience designer OR Master’s Degree in design, HCI/Cognitive Science, Psychology, or commensurate experience

Employees accrue three weeks Paid Time Off (PTO) in their first year of employment, receive 11 paid holidays plus 3 floating days and are eligible for 14 weeks of primary caregiver or two weeks of secondary caregiver leave when welcoming new family members. Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills. 

This role is eligible to receive an annual cash bonus payment based on company, business unit, and/or individual performance. 

Base Pay Range for this position: 

$103,000- $129,000

  

For remote positions located outside of the US, pay will be determined based the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
