Provide expertise oversight and coordination for FMs 247365 incident response effort from initial occurrence to closeout including triage and assessment of situations determining response staffing customer communication and administrative responsibilities Administrative tasks include inputting data into the automated Facilities Management System FMS Incumbent has a critical role in coordinating activities to ensure continuity of critical operationsservices They must consistently exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of their essential duties There will be times that this incumbent may serve in the role of Incident Commander in the absence of senior leadership they may be the primary or only set of eyes on campus to assess and address incidents and emergencies from a facilities perspective An Incident Response Commander has the overall responsibility for managing an incident by establishing objectives planning strategies and implementing tactics they are the person in charge
