Under general direction, performs veterans support functions by assisting with the planning, organizing and directing the day to day operations of the Pat Tillman Veterans Center. Reports to Assistant Director, Student Success.

Implements actions to establish the PTVC success culture for ASU’s military affiliated and student veterans, to include both campus and digital immersion. Builds strong partnerships and collaboration across the ASU enterprise and with other outside organizations and individuals to implement a federated approach in support of military affiliated and student veterans. Covers one or more campuses, as required, to offer support to military affiliated and student veterans through coaching, facilitating and referrals. Leads initiatives to seek out, cultivate and coordinate the opportunities and resources available to directly and indirectly support this demographic. Provides advocacy on behalf of students for any and all veteran or military related issues. In conjunction with Admission Services, implements and coordinates recruitment lead generation efforts. Collaborates with counterparts in other ASU elements who directly and indirectly support military affiliated and student veterans, to include, but not limited to EdPlus Success Coaches, Academic Advisors, Counseling Services, Dean of Students office, etc. Ensures support provided by the Pat Tillman Veterans Center is not redundant or over-stepping bounds of responsibility held by other offices and functions. Performs other duties as required.ASU conducts pre-employment screening for all positions which includes a criminal background check, verification of work history, academic credentials, licenses, and certifications. Must have ability to travel across and between various campus sites.

Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment AND three (3) years of related experience; OR, Seven (7) years of related experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
