**Primary Duties** **and Responsibilities**
+ Perform branch audits, accounting control assessments and balance sheet reviews for assigned entities
+ Manage timely closure of SOX issue tickets and follow up with owner of the processes
+ Perform Pcard & Travel & Expense reviews to ensure compliance with Otis policies
+ Complete risk & gap assessment
+ Perform segregation of duties and system access reviews
+ Participate in preparation of quarterly management representation letter
+ Review and Update Approval Matrix for the region based on changes
+ Coordinate with PwC during their Sarbanes work and branch audits
+ Coordinate and provide training to business areas
+ Conduct periodic reviews of policies & updates
+ Drive and monitor continuous improvement initiatives
+ Other projects and ad-hoc requests assigned
+ Ability to travel approximately 25% of time
Developing
+ Requires 3-4 years of experience in general accounting and internal control functions.
+ Minimum 3-4 experience with SOX controls testing/Auditing.
+ Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills
+ Proven analytical and trouble-shooting skills, identify solutions to resolve simple to complex problem.
+ Builds knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers within the organization.
+ Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction
+ Drive innovation as you contribute to improving the overall control environment
**Career**
+ Certified Public Accountant, Business Administration or related career with strong knowledge in Accounting & Controls
+ Strong understanding of SOX & Auditing Concepts & Principles
+ Fluent in English & Spanish preferred
+ Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
+ Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective to identify solutions
+ Self-motivated. Works independently; receives minimal guidance.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong data analysis skills (Power BI, Query etc.)
+ JDE Accounting software experience a plus
+ Project & time management skills
+ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
