Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Perform branch audits, accounting control assessments and balance sheet reviews for assigned entitiesManage timely closure of SOX issue tickets and follow up with owner of the processesPerform Pcard & Travel & Expense reviews to ensure compliance with Otis policiesComplete risk & gap assessmentPerform segregation of duties and system access reviewsParticipate in preparation of quarterly management representation letterReview and Update Approval Matrix for the region based on changesCoordinate with PwC during their Sarbanes work and branch auditsCoordinate and provide training to business areasConduct periodic reviews of policies & updatesDrive and monitor continuous improvement initiativesOther projects and ad-hoc requests assignedAbility to travel approximately 25% of time

Developing

Requires 3-4 years of experience in general accounting and internal control functions.Minimum 3-4 experience with SOX controls testing/Auditing.Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skillsProven analytical and trouble-shooting skills, identify solutions to resolve simple to complex problem.Builds knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers within the organization.Receives a moderate level of guidance and directionDrive innovation as you contribute to improving the overall control environment

CareerCertified Public Accountant, Business Administration or related career with strong knowledge in Accounting & ControlsStrong understanding of SOX & Auditing Concepts & PrinciplesFluent in English & Spanish preferredExcellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsSolves complex problems; takes a new perspective to identify solutionsSelf-motivated. Works independently; receives minimal guidance.Proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong data analysis skills (Power BI, Query etc.)JDE Accounting software experience a plusProject & time management skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines
