Welcoming you to the team  

Located in Norway, the team consists of 50 highly competent and diverse members. Due to the unique engineering skills of our team, we are able to plan and execute marine and land cable installation projects anywhere in the world. We are able to overcome environmental constraints and client requirements with our unique engineering expertise. This time our team is expanding, so we are looking for a new colleague.  

 

Getting a flying start  
To succeed in Marine Installation, you need experience in the energy, maritime, marine, oil&gas, offshore or construction fields. Our projects will rely on you as a technical key-player for a marine protection SOW. You will review the project contract and analyze all related activities for protection of the cable, milestones, and contribute to the installation budget for protective equipment. To ensure that engineering work is carried out at a high level, you will review the project MDR and develop documents/drawings in accordance with it. Last but not least, you will verify that all protection requirements are met, evaluated for feasibility and aligned with contract/client requirements.

Your starting point when you join   

BSc or MSc degree More than 10 years of relevant experience in engineering work related to offshore work, cable installation, cable/pipe protection or seabed intervention In order to succeed in this role, you will need to be a problem-solver who is capable of thinking outside the box.   Are you a challenge enthusiast? In our fast-paced environment, we are able to work at high speeds and meet short deadlines.   Nexans works in teams based on project execution, so being self-driven and being able to take charge of one's own tasks are of the utmost importance.    Fluent in English – oral and written.
