Job Description:
The Undersea Systems (USS) division is looking for a new FP&A analyst to join their team. USS is a $800M business with locations in the US, Italy and Australia that reports into the Maritime Sector. This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious person that wants to be a part of a dynamic portfolio of maritime programs (FFP/CP/TM/Development). USS FP&A currently reports to the USS Finance Director and has 1 other Principal analyst. Position can be in one of multiple locations: Herndon, VA, Millersville, MD, Goleta, CA, Northampton, MA.
Essential Functions:
+ Ability to improve processes
+ Manage monthly deliverables requirements ensure timely submittals
+ Review program and division level Orders, Sales, OI, ROS and Cash forecasts
+ Validate forecasted ROS ties to previously approved EACs
+ Compare current, prior and AOP forecasts and describe differences
+ Work with teams to solidify CapEx and Discretionary forecasts in system
+ FCSTGov and HFM - ensure program attributes are correct, actuals tie to accounting records and systems are tied out each month
+ Assist with requests from Sector and Segment as needed
+ Maintain high attention to detail
+ Business partner to BD, Program Management and Contracts
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
+ Prior experience in the Aerospace, Defense or Production facilities
+ Prior experience in Program Finance or FP&A
+ Advanced command of Microsoft Suite (Excel, PPT, Word, etc)
Preferred Additional Skills:
+ Prior experience using finance tools such as: SAP, Hyperion (Forecasts/HFM)
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $58K - $108K. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
