Job Description:

The Deployment Specialist participates in all stages of the implementation lifecycle for exports (discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, post-go-live support) to review technical readiness in the customer's environment, under the direction of the Project Manager, and may lead one or more activities. Project responsibilities include; gathering customer requirements, configuring the technical components of the NextGen solution, ensuring infrastructure readiness meets specifications, setting and managing customer expectations regarding the technology and how it will reside in the production environment, knowledge transfer to the customer System administrators and IT staff, troubleshooting issues throughout the implementation cycle and identifying risks and communicating issues to the Project Manager.

Document and validate customers’ requirements and map to NextGen functionality.Creating a system blueprint and dataflow diagram for each projectConduct consulting sessions (on the phone and in-person) to ensure technical readiness of the solution for productionAttend internal project meetings and provide status on progress of activities and deliverables.Ensure infrastructure meets technical specifications and best practicesBe a "go-to" resource for specific functional areas for both internal and external usersSQL scripting to meet customer needsDocument best practices and share with the PracticeContribute to internal knowledge share; review posted feedback on a continuous basis, and respond to questionsComplete new release training on a timely basis; be fully versed on new and/or enhanced functionality in each product release
