Specialist II Brand Creative Designers are outstanding teammates, passionate about creative excellence from concept through to execution and delivery! They work under the direction of the Art Director and alongside copywriters, narrative managers, creative directors, producers, and studio managers. They implement and manage all aspects of execution across several areas including graphic design, photography, video, illustration, animation, and spatial design. Versatile, eager to learn, and able to develop their skills, they deliver coordinated design systems solutions across all appropriate channels. They have a passion for creativity and are committed to staying up to date with current and future trends and technology!
What Will You Work On?
+ Work with the Art Director and Full Studio team to develop the category and campaign visual directions.
+ Contribute to the vision and craft of the art direction. Uphold excellence, ambition, and team spirit.
+ Contribute to best-in-class photography, video content, digital, and experience design in service of Nike Lifestyle.
+ Ability to partner closely with photographers, filmmakers, illustrators, designers, and their agents.
+ Help craft art direction for photo & video shoots, ensuring our content is always on-brand, diverse, contemporary, desirable, and within agreed budgets.
+ Keep up to date with emerging trends in fashion, design, film, art, media, and technology as relevant to Nike and the Lifestyle team.
+ Collaborate with styling, marketing, tech, retail, and production to meet brand vision and standards.
+ Ensure all projects are well-planned, creatively exceptional, and on schedule
+ Review project work for highest standards of quality, consistency and success.
Who Will You Work With?
You will report to the Senior Creative Director, Global Lifestyle and partner with teammates across the Global Lifestyle Brand Creative Studio, Global Brand Marketing, Global Consumer Direct Marketing, Global Production, Global Brand Imaging Studio, and Geo/City Studios.
What You Bring To Nike
+ Minimum 2+ years graphic design and art direction experience in a branded content, agency, editorial or marketing environment.
+ Bachelors/master’s degree in graphic design, industrial design, interior design, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ A passion for the Athlete*, Sport* and Culture.
+ Solid portfolio of creative work, exhibiting a seasoned background in both digital and print design.
+ Great knowledge and expertise of layout, typography, illustration, identity, digital production and publishing across various channels and platforms.
+ Detailed understanding of today’s media landscape and how people engage with content, with in-depth knowledge of social media, interactive communication, processes, and user-interface design for digital products.
+ Ability to collaborate with and creatively manage freelance design talent.
+ Ability to oversee team efforts while also working independently to deliver on individualresponsibilities.
+ A driven mentality with proven ability to flex and adapt to changing business needs while maintaining creative quality.
+ Laser-sharp focus to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
+ Strong time management with ability to toggle between daily and long-term tasks, keeping workstreams moving forward simultaneously.
+ Excellent verbal and visual communication skills; adept at presenting and defending creative work.
+ Strong social skills with highly developed ability to champion cross-functional partnership and an open, positive and collaborative environment.
+ Curiosity and in-depth understanding of design culture, current and past.
+ Astute attention to detail and meticulous organizational skills in service of your creative projects.
+ Experience across O2O environments.
+ Entrepreneurial spirit with diligent approach to identifying and acting on ways to improve the work, continually pushing the vision of Nike Lifestyle forward.
+ Ability to travel as needed.
+ A sense of humor and a positive spirit.
