This is a non-union positionEnbridge is actively seeking a Specialist II, Economic Evaluation. This role reports to the Manager of Economic Evaluation. This role is responsible for performing economic and risk valuations on project proposals for GTM and develops recommendations for senior management review. The role serves as a liaison with Business Development, Regulatory, Treasury, Project Development & others.

What You Will Do:
Manages and delivers economic valuations and risk analysis for capital project proposals/ business opportunities supporting achievement of corporate objectives.
Works closely with Business Development, Regulatory, Investment Review, Treasury and Tax in defining and evaluating project proposals.
Develops and maintains an awareness of customers’ business and contributes ideas for commercial opportunities.
Presents analysis and strategy recommendations to management.
Prepares financial presentations for Capital Allocation Committee, Investment Review Committee and Board reviews of project proposals.
Assists in writing and maintaining standard evaluation models for both US and Canadian projects.
Performs a variety of periodic and ad hoc analyses on the performance of individual expansion projects and the portfolio in total.
Maintains written procedures and guidelines for performing economic and risk evaluations.
Provides guidance and training to Economic Evaluation team members, as necessary.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
7 years of relevant experience including 2+ years in financial analysis, accounting, treasury, strategic planning, marketing, business development or related area
Superior communication skills, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Strong analytical skills to effectively solve problems and reach a logical conclusion
Strong results-driven orientation; independent decision making
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
A team player with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
Pro-active self-starter with high level of motivation and personal initiative
Ability to manage confidential information in a sensitive manner
Preferred:
CFA or MBA
Strong analytical and financial modeling experience
Working Conditions:Office environment
Tight deadlines in responding to project development and investment opportunities
Some travel required

Company paid international relocation is not offered for this role.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:Balancing, bending and stooping, climbing, crawling, carrying (up to 25 pounds), grasping, kneeling, lifting (objects up to 25 pounds), pulling hand over hand, pushing, reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, walking, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.
