The Specialist AWM ERP position within the Asset and Work Management team is crucial for facilitating the seamless integration of newly acquired utility organizations into the existing enterprise resource planning (ERP)system. This role entails not only participating in system migrations, requirements development, and collaboration with both business and technical teams, but could include leading a small team of functional advisors, business analysts, and process specialists. The Specialist ensures that all project activities, including functional design, testing, process development, and training material deployment, are successfully executed to achieve seamless utility integration.

What You Will Do:
Assist in migrating utilities from their current work management systems to the new ERP environment.Collaborate with the technical team to develop functional designs that meet business requirements.Design new business processes that leverage ERP capabilities, including construction project processes, compatible unit utilization, and cross functional processes with Finance and Supply Chain.Partner with cross functional teams to develop solutions for complex problems.Develop systems processes that align with business goals and ensure data integrity across platforms.Assist with the development of test plans and writing detailed test cases for both system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).Coordinate and assist with the execution of test cases, ensuring compliance with specified requirements.Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules to ensure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables.Regularly communicate with project stakeholders to update them on project progress, potential challenges and address concerns, and gather feedback.Identify potential project risks, maintain a risk registry, and implement strategies to mitigate risks effectively.Manage changes to project scope and objectives, ensuring all modifications are documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.Lead and coordinate project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring team members are clear on their roles and responsibilities.Provide ongoing support during the cut-over and go-live phases to address any issues and ensure a smooth transition.Offer post-go-live support to resolve operational challenges and optimize system performance.Who You Are:
Related university degree and minimum of seven (7) or more years of directly related experience in the asset and work management field OR equivalent combination of formal education, certification and experience.Demonstrated ability to be innovative, initiate, lead or manage changeDemonstrated ability to work in a team environment on complex technical issues.Proven interpersonal, communication, negotiation, influence and leadership skills.Experience in the Gas Utility industry with expertise in project design, construction processes, and compatible unit utilization.Working knowledge of ERP systems, specifically around Maximo and work management, finance and supply chain is preferred.CBAP Certification or other formally recognized education in the field of business analysis is considered an asset.Demonstrated keen awareness of and aptitude for developing interpersonal relationships and building stakeholder engagement is an asset.Working Conditions (Optional):

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
