Job Overview:

As a Licensed Social Worker, the Specialist will carry a caseload of any individuals identified at intake to have a gambling disorder, clinically conduct individual sessions to directly focus on addressing gambling disorder diagnosis, and facilitate individual and group sessions specific to gambling.

Qualifications:

Required:

Master s degree in Social Work or Counseling Experience with NJSAMS One year of experience working in the addictions fieldAll new hires who are in recovery must attest to having one year of sobriety and abstinence and are required to sign an Affidavit of RecoveryMust comply with TRMC paid state-level criminal history record background check supported by fingerprint check prior to hire

Preferred:

LCADC

Certifications and Licenses Required:

LSW or LCSWCertificate in gambling or willing to obtain

Scheduling Requirements:

Shift working, 8-4pmMonday-FridayFT

Essential Functions:

Conducts substance abuse and mental health intakes for DSRIP patients who agree to treatmentRuns group therapy sessionsProvides individual treatment for patients and familiesCompletes clinical notes, treatment plans and discharge summaries according to established policies and proceduresFacilitates linkages/case-management for patients on clinician s caseloadCommunicates with referral agencies, at a minimum, every month using a schedule of monthly call listCompletes weekly DSRIP data report on patient outcomesCompletes satisfaction surveys with patients receiving treatment at TRMCConducts field outreach with TRMC van to patient s homes, local shelters and/or bus/train stations when necessaryFacilitate groups specific to gamblingCarries a caseload of any individuals identified at Intake to have a gambling disorderClinically conducts individual sessions to directly focus on addressing gambling disorder diagnosisCompletes intakes as scheduledAttends weekly clinical team and monthly unit meetingsProvides coverage when necessary for program director
