Responsibilities

Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Security ForeScout Specialist to assist with design, implement, and optimize security solutions utilizing ForeScout technology. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Security architecture and protocols, as well as hands-on experience with ForeScout products with problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize shifting workloads in a rapidly changing environment. An effective communicator, and a confident team member with a genuine passion to make things happen in a dynamic organization.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

Assist with architectural oversight for complex deployment including capacity planning, appliance placement, segmentation, and functional separationWork closely with the Ascension Network team and internal design meetings and calls.Investigate and resolve Network Access Control incidents and provide recommendations to prevent future occurrences.Ability to provide support in an IT operations and maintenance Tier II or III role, including ticket work information updates, issue response, and remediationEnsure that all security-related policies and procedures are being followed by the team.Provide technical guidance to other members of the security team and network team.Represent the security team in network/security discussions and ensure the security of the networkWork closely with the network team to ensure that security policies are being followed and that the network is secure.Maintain documentation for Network Access Control policies, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in an IT related field5 years of experience with network hardware configuration5 years of significant experience with Windows based operating systems and Unix systems, specifically Linux.Expertise in technologies involved in large scale enterprise deployments/data centersExperience in deploying and/or supporting enterprise security software products such as firewalls, IPS, Anti-Virus solutions, application firewalls, high availability solutions, network management systems and virtual systems.Experience with tools such as Nmap, Nessus, and tcpdumpExperience implementing and using complicated software products that involve multiple componentsAbility to clearly document complicated steps and proceduresDesign and architecture experience a plusWorking knowledge of shell, perl and xml scripting.Excellent communication skills, strong customer orientation, good organizational skills, self-driven with the ability to multi-task on various projects and aptitude to learn new technologiesExcellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience working in demanding and challenging environments

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent industry
experience preferredForeScout Certified Administrator (FSCA)/ForeScout Certified Engineer (FSCE) a plusCISSP, CEH, CISM, and/or CCSP a plus
Requirements

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
