Description:

As a Specialist in Pharmacy Inventory Control, you will be responsible for the procurement of medications, IV supplies, and equipment. Your key duties include navigating drug shortages, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. You will collaborate closely with key team members to forecast demand and ensure the availability of essential drugs for patient care. Additionally, you will manage vendor relationships. Your role also involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

High School Diploma or GED required. Requires Indiana Pharmacy Technician License. Requires Pharmacy Technician National Certification. 5+ years relevant experience preferred. Requires the absence of criminal history related to the ability to work with drugs. Requires strong mathematical calculation skills. Requires full proficiency as a pharmacy technician in assigned areas and ability to work within established procedures under limited supervision. Requires strong written and verbal communication skills. Requires strong customer service skills. Requires intermediate proficiency typing and using Microsoft Office applications.
