Specialist Pricing Competence Center

Location: Bucharest 

 

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

 

Competences: Contribute and support the company and one team philosophy by continuously developing communication skills, proactive mindset and business expertise to ensure the highest possible outcome for the customer.

 

Operational: Be the main point of contact for regional Pricing teams and local Revenue Management teams for Pricing Execution activities. Understand the pricing strategies of different Business Units, translate in technical language and guide the Analysts in the PCC team to secure accurate Condition Maintenance. Ensure quality level and keep experienced know-how in the organization.

 

Processes and systems: Serve as Business Process Expert (BPX) for Pricing Execution processes and systems. Collaborate with local and regional Pricing teams, CACC team and Pricing/ Billing BPO and be the driver for any system and process improvements mainly in the administrative area of Pricing for all Business Units.

 

Standardization and Continuous Improvement: Make processes more efficient and effective. Drive standardization and optimization across the region. Initiate process changes and system enhancements /improvements. Automation of system & rule-based processes with the support of CI and RPA team. 


 

PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Customer: Maximize customer satisfaction related to service and behaviour by ensuring efficient and effective interaction with internal customers.

 

Cross-functional: Maintain a close working relationship with local Revenue Management and regional Pricing teams, Sales and PCC Analysts. Continuous communication in order to enable the best decision based on the latest available information. Be aware of and understand the wider business environment.

 

Main responsibilities:

Analyze and understand the Pricing strategies in cooperation with local Revenue Management teams for the different Business Units; Be the main point of contact for local Revenue Management teams and PCC Analysts for all Pricing Execution activities and ensure no communication gaps; Analyse the different Pricing strategies, translate into technical language and coordinate its execution with the PCC Analysts to ensure accurate Condition Maintenance;  Check and approve all deals created by the PCC Analysts in PriMa Deal Manager; Monitor SAP interface and proper accomplishment into SAP SD module;  Create bonus reports and align with local Revenue Management and Sales teams about payouts or deletion of the rebates; Handling of Invoice claims: Check invoice claims, perform in-depth root cause analysis, initiate corrective measures and trigger corrections;

 

Processes and Systems:

Maintain a high degree of process and system knowledge. Consult and assist with high quality and support the local and regional Pricing teams, Sales and PCC Analysts in system utilization (SAP, PriMa, C4C Pricing). Drive standardization for Pricing Execution processes and systems. Initiate process changes and system enhancements /improvements for PriMa and C4C Pricing. Create EKNs, perform testing and coordinate the implementation with Pricing BPO and CACC team where needed. Perform onboarding and regular trainings to the PCC Analysts

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Overall work experience of at least 3-4 years; Work experience in Pricing, Billing Operations, Sales Administration or Customer Administration would be an asset; IT skills especially in Vendavo (PriMa) SAP R/3 (SD-Modul) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) would be an asset; Additional knowledge in any other Pricing or CRM System would be an asset; Ability to guide, mentor and train others; Manage and consolidate high data and set the right priorities; Ability to perform in an international team and work cross-functionally; Being independent and fulfil requirements within scope and on schedule; The ability to work at both detailed and summary levels and to set the right priorities; Being proactive and having a process related mindset; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Fluency in business English.
