The Quality Systems Associate is responsible for support functions related to the quality systems team, clerical and administrative support, data entry and other supporting functions to ensure maintenance of policies and procedures according to applicable regulatory requirements. This position may also support internal audits, external audits including customer, vendor and regulatory audits. The appropriate candidate must be highly adaptable, detail-oriented, work well under minimal supervision, and effective problem-solving skills.

This position reports to the Sr. Supervisor, Quality Systems and will sit in our Carpinteria, CA location supporting the Nusil business unit.

What we’re looking for:

Education: Associate’s degree preferred (related field a plus: Medical Device, Chemistry/Biology, Business Administration, Office ManagementExperience: 3 to 5 years’ experience in related industryAssociate’s degree obtained – 1-3 years’ experience in related industryProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)Proficient in cGMP/cGXP requirements and applicability to NuSil quality system

How you will create an impact:

Performs specialized administrative work in relationship to quality systems throughout the company.Supports department customer relationship management activities.Monitor and organize inquiries directed to the organization’s quality assurance email inbox. This includes screening content of emails, assigning request numbers to each request that is received and assigning requests to quality specialists.Maintaining excellent customer service via phone calls with other departments and emails with clients.Directly communicating with clients via email regarding the status of their request and ensuring all requests are completed in a timely manner by maintaining clear communication with quality specialists.Filing, scanning and storage of quality records.

Pay Transparency:

The expected pre-tax pay for this position is

$64,000.00 - $106,000.00

Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
