**Duties** : Design, build and support test automation framework used by engineers across business organizations. Implement standard methodologies, resolve test issues, track, and prioritize defects, record test results, participate in product readiness and release decisions. Ensure automation is constantly running, analyzing, and promptly reporting on failures. Liaise with product teams, Product Owners, and Scrum master’s to integrate project plans, testing schedules, and metrics reporting. Assist in driving Use Case and User Story reviews, and help resolve requirements ambiguities. Work in concert with architects, software developers, operation engineers and product owners in an agile fashion to build and test the Company’s onPrem and Cloud applications. Driving Use Case and User Story reviews, and resolve software requirements ambiguities. And, partner with geographically distributed teams to plan our future QA tooling and technology decisions. Position allows for partial remote work. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Westlake, TX. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.
Job Location: Westlake, TX
Salary: $114,490.40 to $143,600.00 per year
Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.
**What you have**
**Job Requirements** : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Requires 2 years of related experience, which must include 2 years experience in each of the following skills: Testing REST and SOAP AP, web and mobile based applications that reference database back-end systems; Testing methods and tools like MS Unit, TestNG, Selenium WebDriver, NUnit, or similar; Creating and maintaining automated test cases by building a custom robust automation testing framework; Testing Web based UI Applications and APIs; Source Control (GIT or TFS) and Agile Development Methodologies; and Testing tools Postman, MABL, or JMeter.
