Specialist- Training II Ops IND

Basic Job Functions:

Conduct operator certification, handle new hire training, deliver process changes (i.e., WI/OPL) to operators, and ensure internal cross training is carried out effectively by peer trainers.

Education/Experience:

Minimum 3 years of working experience in a Manufacturing / Operations environment. Must have hands-on experience in manufacturing processes and be able to provide training to a small group of personnel. Communicate effectively and meticulously in their approach. A basic Degree with 2-3 years of working experience in relevant fields. A Diploma or Advance Diploma or equivalent with 6 years of working experience in relevant fields.

Behavioral:

Demonstrate First Solar Values and Behavior Able to follow up on projects and meet deadlines. Must be detail oriented and consistently accurate. Able to work with minimum supervision. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational skills. Good communication

Technical:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook with some Access Database knowledge) Ability to provide a summary of raw data i.e., Table, Pareto.

Essential Responsibilities:

Responsible for certification/decertification/recertification processes for operations and ensure all documentation updated timely as according to ISO requirement. Assess operation associate skills based on the qualified certification criteria i.e., FS Training Guide. Deliver required operation changes to the operation associates i.e., Work Instruction (WI) changes, One Point Lessons (OPL), Best Known Method (BKM) Provide coaching and training to the Peer Trainers and ensure effective training is delivered to the operation associates. Execute training as per plan and feedback / report to respective Supervisor / Shift Managers and Training Lead for continuous improvements. Support in delivering key site workforce transformation program to the operation associates. Capable of giving directions, instructions and consultation to Operation Associates/Supervisors whenever required. Support Operation Training Lead by conducting essential training needs and continuously improving the skillsets of operations associates.
