Specialty Account Executive (Dental & Vision)

Position Summary
The Strategic Account Executive is responsible for maintaining an existing book of dental and vision business in Middle Market. They will need to develop strong
internal and external relationships to achieve success.


Fundamental Components:
- Meets retention and profitability objectives for an assigned book of business.
- Delivers organized, polished utilization and industry presentations which provide strategic insight and allows for recommendations to meet the client’s long term business goals.
- Evaluates client's dental/vision plans to ensure client's needs are being met while showing the value of staying with Aetna products.
- Partners with underwriting to meet the clients strategic and financial goals so ensure a successful renewal while maintaining territory retention and profitability objectives.
- Identifies and capitalizes on emerging trends in the marketplace as the Subject Matter Expert on dental and vision for clients, consultants/ brokers and account teams
- Develops a mutually rewarding working relationship with clients, account teams, underwriting and consultants/brokers to ensure client retention.
- Shares relevant industry and competitive data within and across business units and segments to support the development of new product initiatives.
- Communicates high level client retention status to management and is knowledgeable about the risk status for all groups in the book of business
- Collaborates with team members on case installation, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to account management.

Required Qualifications

3-5 years Health Insurance industry experienceHeath & Life Licensure as required by state, or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire.Demonstrated examples of owning/ managing complex customer relationships.Sales administration, support, reportingMust be able to travel 10-30%


Preferred Qualifications

Reside in the Northeast region and have the ability to work Hybrid Model in one of our regional Aetna offices.Preferred experience in Dental & Vision


Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience ( HS Diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$50,700.00 - $106,300.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
