Specialty Engineering - Environments Section Manager
**Job Description** BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional program manager for an exciting opportunity to support the Air Force's acquisition of the next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM), the Sentinel weapon system. This program manager will work with a highly skilled and diverse team of specialty systems engineers responsible for the review of weapon system requirements and data from the prime contractor. This position will require the candidate to act as section lead managing 6 - 8 personnel to support the branch manager while also acting as subject matter expert to provide guidance to the specialty sections of Nuclear Hardness and Resilience, Natural and Induced Environments, Tempest, and Human Systems Integration. The candidate will also work hand-in-hand with USAF civilian and uniformed program managers and engineers on a daily basis and will provide frequent communication to the government. As such, the candidate must have a technical background in addition to knowledge of the program requirements. Pursuant to Government contract, this position requires US Citizenship status. \#ASFS **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Bachelor s degree with 10 years or Masters with 8 years of experience in program management. + Proactive person with a positive attitude and a team player mentality. + Highly organized with acute attention to detail. + Possess a willingness to learn while also sharing your current knowledge/skills. + Experience with Sentinel Weapon system. + Values brainstorming and changing the status quo. + Possesses both strategic thinking skills and tactical execution skills. + Strong communication skills. + Must have a Secret clearance and eligible for all required Special Program accesses. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + An active DoD top security clearance. **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $106654 - $181311 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
