Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Hazardous Specialty Gas Technician to join our 24/7 operational silicon carbide semiconductor manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our specialty gas systems, ensuring safe handling of hazardous materials, and supporting our continuous manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot bulk chemical and specialty gas systems.Specialty gas cylinder changesOffload/receive bulk chemicals into storage tanks. Shipping and receiving of specialty gases and chemicals.Perform leak detection, repairs and preventative maintenance on chemical rooms and gas cabinets.Receive deliveries of bulk chemicals and daily inventory control.Conduct regular inspections and surveys of gas systems, completing appropriate documentation.Packaged chemicals and specialty gas deliveries to production.Decontamination of hazardous materials. Manage proper storage of bulk hazardous waste accumulation areas and materials.Respond to emergency calls as a part of the Emergency Response TeamQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent trade school exp.Hazardous specialty experience in a related trade or environmentMust have the ability to multitask and work under pressure.Be able to climb, walk, pull, use of ladder, drive forklifts, handle hazardous materials and perform work in confined spaces.Strong ability to read, understand, and interpret technical documents and manuals.Proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite of applicationsCompleted 40 hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) trainingTitle 22 and CFR 49 certificationsAir Purifying Respirator (APR) certificationAdditional InformationThis role will work on site in Roseville, CA.Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only. The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $25.00-$35.00/hr.
