St. Anthony's Hospital is currently seeking a full-time Specialty Medication Coordinator. Founded in 1931 by the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany, has a long tradition of providing a wide range of exceptional health care services to our community. Specialty Medication Coordinator Responsibilities:

Obtain prior authorizations for specialty medicationsIdentify copay assistance including patient assistance programs and foundation assistanceNavigate prescriptions to appropriate specialty pharmacies for fulfillment and offer BayCare HomeCare services to qualifying patients to optimize continuity of care. Possess specific skills and training in managing financial and clinical information, working with financial eligibility or third-party programs, and effectively communicating with patients and caregivers throughout the prescription process. Work with clinic staff and pharmacists to identify patients started on specialty medications, streamline prior authorizations turnaround time, and assist patient in obtaining other forms of financial assistance when possible.

Required Qualifications:

High School Graduate or Equivalent GED1 year healthcare experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Pharmacy Technician experiencePharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
