As a Specialty Product Associate in the Transaction Control Manager team, you will be a strategic thinker passionate about promoting solutions. You will work with partners and clients to investigate and decide on transaction escalations, provide consulting to Trade Operations and partners on risk and business opportunities, and identify, measure, control, and monitor transaction risks to limit exposure. This role provides an opportunity to interface with and influence partners in Product, Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Audit, and to lead in the industry and represent JPMorgan in forums.

Job Responsibilities:

Work with partners and clients to investigate and decide on transaction escalations. Provide consulting to Trade Operations and partners on risk and business opportunities. Identify, measure, control, and monitor transaction risks to limit exposure. Interface with and influence partners in Product, Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Audit. Create and deliver Trade training programs and forums. Champion change in Global Trade Finance Risk and Controls. Lead in the industry and represent JPMorgan in forums. Interact with regulators on exams, reviews, and requests. Advise on trade transformation projects like digitization and automation.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

Possess extensive knowledge of trade products, including commercial and standby letters of credit, documentary collections, and more. Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of ICC Rules (UCPDC, ISBP, URC, ISP, URR) and SWIFT rules for 400 and 700 series messages. Exhibit expert knowledge of U.S. regulations such as BSA/AML, OFAC, Anti-Boycott, and Export Controls. Communicate effectively with excellent verbal and written skills. Demonstrate confidence in risk-based decision-making and escalate issues to senior management as needed. Analyze processes, identify improvement opportunities, and influence partners to implement changes. Manage multiple tasks/projects with competing deadlines in a global team environment. Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher. Operate effectively in a complex, high-pressure, highly regulated environment. Bring a minimum of 10 years of experience in trade, risk, compliance, or audit areas.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

CDCS certification is a plus. CAMS certification is a plus. Experience in trade product digitization or automation is a plus.
