Title: Specialty Products Market Business Development Manager – Environmental Market Focus

Job Purpose: Highly influential - individual contributor position responsible for the Environmental market development, sales strategy, as well as regional sales and wallet share growth across the comprehensive Specialty Product Portfolio

Location: The Woodlands, TX (location flexible)

The Environmental Market opportunity is estimated to have a domestic total available market value of $ 105M,

The Environmental Market Business Development Manager will work closely with the national accounts and local sales organizations to train and assist in acquiring strategic accounts with key power generating companies, and nationally supported Tier 1 and Tier II greenhouse gas emitting permitted facilities, and other regional key accounts.

The Environmental Market Business Development Manager will work closely with the Operations organization to expand technical capabilities, capacity, and overall level of customer service.

The Environmental Market Business Development Manager will also work closely with the RD organization to validate customer needs and opportunities, commercialize new offerings currently under development, and develop ideas for new products and services for the segment.

The Environmental Market Business Development Manager will work cross-functionally to support the market requirements for the Environmental market, and East Region and will work directly with technical support resources, sales, as well as customer service, customer technical leads and buyers to ensure effective business execution.

The Environmental Market Business Development Manager requires independent discretion and judgment in management, strategic alignment with departments, regions, and other business units within Linde Gas Equipment Inc.

Successful candidate should have a thorough understanding of the selling process and experience in our key market segments and be skilled in business development and commercializing new offerings.

What you will be doing:

Understand the Environmental product application marketplace, customer needs, technical alternatives, EPA rules and associated regulations, demand drivers, industry capacity, market opportunity and wallet share distributionDevelop and execute Nationally aligned sales strategy within the Environmental market with demonstrated salesand wallet share growth nationwideDevelop and drive measurable activity for the implementation of go-to-market sales and pricing strategies.Support the sales team in responding to RFQs and other customer product requests. Develop and coordinate training efforts and interfaces that create field level knowledge amongst the Specialty Products Sales TeamsLead cost reviews and margin analysis to support sales profitability, margin improvement and wallet share retention and growth.Bridge the activities of sales, engineering, and operations.Work with quality and operations to ensure product-specific customer needs, regulatory changes, application evolutions are understood are met for current and future business. Review and align technical specifications and adjustments to meet customer needs, including market differentiation and analytical comparisons. Create tactical product line roadmap proposals for the service portfolio based on service scope, as well as new and expanding requirements, EPA regulatory changes and market conditionsWork with Product Development to Execute on new service, features, improved and/or expanded technical requirements, and product performance in partnership with operations and engineering resources.Work with RD organization to define technical packages development opportunities, and new product offerings to support growth.Work with the Linde Specialty Products Marketing, Product Development, Operations, and sales team, to support forward-looking investments into expanded market segmentation and identified growth opportunities. Support operational requests for commercial information to support business case requests for operational infrastructure expansion, changes, asset purchases and personnel needs to support future business growth opportunities
