General Summary
Provide amazing guest service while taking, retrieving and serving food and beverage orders to guest tables according to venue specifications in a professional courteous and efficient manner and complete side work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Presents menus to guests and uses suggestive selling techniques to sell appetizers, soups, salads, entrees, specialty items, desserts and wine. Takes food and beverage orders and ensures accurate entry and delivery of the order. Meets all service standards, such as performing a satisfaction check within two minutes of the guest receiving food orders and within four minutes of a guest receiving a cocktail order. Meets guest service standards at all times. Totals guest bills, presents them to guests in a timely manner and obtains full payment along with appropriate paperwork, such as signed credit card slips, comps, etc. Ensures tables are well maintained at all times. Maintains tables in the assigned station as needed and according to restaurant. Attends training classes required by management. Perform any other duties as assigned by management. Provide outstanding guest service to all internal and external guests
