Responsibilities
Assist the CVOR surgical team under the supervision of the surgeon and registered nurse.Prepare the operating room for assigned surgical procedures with proper instrumentation and sterilizationNavigate the nuances of surgical procedures and surgeons you’ll be supporting Adapt to the needs of emergency situationsProvide clean-up and turnover of operating room to prepare for next patientMust be able to rotate call and report within 30 minutes, if called for a procedure

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing with attendance of the core curriculum for perioperative nursing or equivalent training, and licensed to practice in the State of ArkansasGraduate of an approved surgical technology program (one or two year program)One year surgical experience requiredMust have completed the required hospital and unit specific orientation periodMust be currently certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support & renewable every two yearsMust be able to rotate taking surgical call (weeknights / weekends).
