Duties: We are looking for a Specialty Underwriting Manager to join our Management & Professional Liability (M&PL) team! This key role will focus on leadership and management of our Southwest Region underwriting team. A typical day will include the following: • Determine acceptability, conditions, and pricing of accounts within PHLY appetite and authority level. • Maintain and develop relationships with assigned agency partners • Monitor loss experience and business conditions of key accounts • Lead a team of underwriters and other staff to meet the service needs of large multi-product customers. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge products and target markets in the management liability line of business segment. • Market products to Agency partners within assigned territory. This role will also occasionally accompany PHLY Marketing Represen Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent is strongly preferred • 10 years of underwriting experience in professional liability with carrier or broker, D&O, E&O, Cyber preferred • 2-4 years of supervisory experience • Must have demonstrated marketing and agency development skills/experience Bonus/Annual Incentive: This position is eligible to participate in the Company's Annual Incentive Plan.
