Specifications Analyst

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with various internal departments including but not limited to pricing, engineers, customer service, operations, procurement, and plant controllers in order to facilitate standard costing as well as pricing integrityProcess manufacturing facility requests to create new supply and inventory items along with maintaining existing item attributes in master data listsRoutinely audit the system for similar existing items to ensure that close comparatives are set-up consistentlyCollaborate with management team to drive process improvement and accuracy in critical supporting operations, demand and accounting requirementsParticipate in additional projects as assigned by the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager during the annual budget and year-end rollover cyclesCoordinate and maintain changes in the Commercial Demand planAssist in profitable decision-making by gathering data and performing ad hoc analysis related to all aspects of customer demand curves, product rationalization opportunities, and pricing optimizationValidate revenue and standard cost for monthly forecasting/annual budget

EDUCATION:  

Required: Bachelor’s degree preferably Accounting, Supply Chain, Finance, or 5-7 years in related business field

EXPERIENCE:

Required: 1-3 years’ experience in supply chain/finance role.  Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills

SKILLS:

Required: Strong Excel skills, strong written and verbal commination, and ability to work independently while focusing on time management

Preferred:  Cognos TM1, ERP systems knowledge (Oracle), BI Tool (Tableau), DemandWorks
