Specimen Processor - Clinical - Greater Boston

Hiring for our Needham location:

40hrs - Clinical (Mon-Fri, 3:00pm-11:30pm, Rotating Weekends and Holidays)

40hrs - AP (Mon-Fri, 2:30pm-11pm)

40hrs - AP (Mon-Fri, 7am-3:30pm or 8am-4:30pm in Cytology)

SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Laboratory Supervisor, oversees the in-house handling of laboratory specimens, preparation and transportation of specimens to vendor laboratories and problem resolution/tracking of pending tests. EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g. GED, HiSET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution or governmental unit, plus additional college courses in Biology and Chemistry required. Associates degree or equivalent preferred.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of six months to one-year experience required. Minimum of one year’s experience as aPhlebotomist required.

SKILLS

Computer experience required. Must have excellent customer service skills.
