Position: Moderate/Severe SPED Teacher Location: Banning Start Date: ASAP upon compliance Schedule: Monday-Friday (37.5 hours per week) Pay: $60-65 per hour Assignment Details: + Middle School + Moderate/Severe Certification Required + Caseload: 10-12 students per classroom + Interview Required Job Duties: + Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with moderate to severe disabilities. + Adapt and modify curriculum to meet the needs of students. + Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success. + Provide direct instruction and support to students in both academic and functional skills. + Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed. + Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student performance and compliance requirements. + Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and learning.
