At AnthroMed Education, we’re passionate about changing the special education landscape, and we're excited to partner with a wonderful school district in Gurnee that is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join their team for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. Our mission is to connect dedicated and passionate SLPs with school partners who value their work and support their growth.

We currently have three SLPs working in the district and are looking to add another SLP to provide speech services to students at a primary school. If you have a passion for helping young students develop their communication skills and thrive in an academic setting, we want to hear from you!

Position Details:Full-time: ~38 hours per weekStart Date: ASAP through June 3rd, 2025Caseload: Primary school students (Pre-K through 2nd grade)Work Schedule: 7:25 AM - 3:00 PM (with some variation based on the school)Responsibilities:Provide speech and language therapy services to primary school students.Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs.Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and eligibility for services.Implement therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills.Qualifications:Valid SLP license in Illinois.Valid Professional Educators License (PEL)Experience working with primary school students is preferred.Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.Why AnthroMed?
