We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to cover a 24-25 school year leave at an elementary school in Lincolnshire, Illinois. As the SLP for elementary students, you will be responsible for providing services to around 30 students or less within a preschool and kindergarten setting. This role involves working with a diverse group of students with speech and language needs. This SLP will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals within the district to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed academically and socially. Responsibilities:
+ Completes evaluations to assess speech needs and areas of growth for elementary students.
+ Assist case manager with developing student Individualized Education Plan (IEP) tailored to each student’s needs and goals.
+ Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to identified students within the diverse learning program.
+ Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to meet the students' speech and/or language needs.
+ Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans.
+ Communicate regularly with parents, sharing progress updates and providing strategies for continued support at home.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
+ Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
+ ISBE and IDFPR license eligible in the state of Illinois
+ Professional Educators License (PEL) eligible
