SPEECH PATHOLOGIST (SLP) – SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY

Minimum availability required of Per Diem staff--2 weekend days per month
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate speech therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders and speech-related difficulties in clients of all ages. This position involves developing individualized therapy plans and working collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language abilitiesConduct swallowing evaluations and treatment including videofluoroscopyDevelop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findingsImplement therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and strategiesMonitor and document client progress and adjust treatment plans as neededEducate and train clients, families, and caregivers on exercises and techniques for continued progressCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and progress tracking
Qualifications
Current CA SLP license. Recent, board eligible, graduates will be considered for provisional appointments. CFY candidates must apply at conclusion of CFY (required for student supervision).Current CPRBLS and Fire Safety cards.
Therapists will apply and obtain CCS paneling once one year equivalent of pediatric experience is obtained.
Experienced therapists with 1 year equivalent of pediatric experience will apply/obtain CCS paneling within six months of hire.
