Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (Part-Time)
Location: Mundelein, IL 60048 and Highland Park
Duration: January 6, 2025 – June 5, 2025
Schedule: 3 days per week
Caseload: Pull out support for social-emotional needs and communication skills, AAC
Schools: 2 Therapeutic Day Schools
Flexible Schedule: Potential flexibility in days of the week
AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team on a part-time basis, 3 days per week for the 2024-2025 academic year. This position offers the opportunity to work with elementary-aged students providing pull-out support for social-emotional needs at one school for one day a week and the other two days will be providing communication skills at a different school. The position is based at two schools in the one in the Mundelein area and the other in Highland Park.
Key Responsibilities:Provide speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders in a self-contained elementary school setting.Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based therapy techniques.Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to develop individualized education plans and support student progress.Document progress and maintain accurate records of student evaluations, treatment plans, and outcomes.Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student care.Pull out support for social-emotional needs.
Qualifications:Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication DisordersValid Illinois State Professional Educator License (PEL) ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply Additional Information:This is a part-time position for the duration of the academic year, from January 6, 2025, through June 5, 2025.The current schedule is three days a week, with 7.5 hours per day, including a 30-minute duty-free lunch.
