Visit dignityhealth.org/northridgehospital for more information. **SPEECH PATHOLOGIST (SLP) – SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY** **Northridge Hospital Medical Center, a Dignity Health member** **Minimum availability required of Per Diem staff--2 weekend days per month** We are looking for a skilled and compassionate speech therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders and speech-related difficulties in clients of all ages. This position involves developing individualized therapy plans and working collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals. **Responsibilities** + Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language abilities + Conduct swallowing evaluations and treatment including videofluoroscopy + Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings + Implement therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and strategies + Monitor and document client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed + Educate and train clients, families, and caregivers on exercises and techniques for continued progress + Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and progress tracking **Qualifications** + Current CA SLP license. Recent, board eligible, graduates will be considered for provisional appointments. + CFY candidates must apply at conclusion of CFY (required for student supervision). + Current CPRBLS and Fire Safety cards. Therapists will apply and obtain CCS paneling once one year equivalent of pediatric experience is obtained.
