Speech Language Pathologist
Provides a quality Speech Language Pathology program to clients. **Responsibilities:** + Prepares diagnostic and evaluative reports with recommendations for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology services. + Maintains compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies' requirements (OSHA, TJC, CMS) and practitioner requirements (CEUs, licenses, certifications). + Provides diagnostic evaluative services for clients referred for Speech-Language Pathology. + Delivers appropriate speech pathology treatments to clients. + Actively participates in staff meetings, development programs, and in-service education. + Adheres to organizational policies, including Corporate Compliance Program, Code of Conduct, and HIPAA regulations. + Maintains confidentiality and accurate progress notes and professional records. + Provides excellent customer service with a positive attitude. + Coordinates evaluation, scheduling, and treatment programs for clients. + Pursues professional growth, presents educational programs, and participates in community education. + MS, MEd or MA in Speech-Language Pathology. + Must possess knowledge and skills required to provide quality customer service. **Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:** CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competency) or meet the educational requirements for certification and be in the process of completing his or her Clinical Fellowship year. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire. Speech Pathologists license required for state in which employee provides services. + Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) + Speech Pathologist + Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) + Act 33 with renewal + Act 34 with renewal + Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal **UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran**
