Salary: $60,000- $74,000 / Hourly: $48.70 - $60.06
AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team on a part-time basis, 3 days per week for the 2024-2025 academic year. This position offers the opportunity to work with elementary-aged students providing pull-out support for social-emotional needs at one school for one day a week and the other two days will be providing communication skills at a different school. The position is based at two schools in the one in the Mundelein area and the other in Highland Park.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders in a self-contained elementary school setting.
+ Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based therapy techniques.
+ Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to develop individualized education plans and support student progress.
+ Document progress and maintain accurate records of student evaluations, treatment plans, and outcomes.
+ Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student care.
+ Pull out support for social-emotional needs.
Qualifications:
+ Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
+ Valid Illinois State Professional Educator License (PEL)
+ ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply
+ Additional Information:
+ This is a part-time position for the duration of the academic year, from January 6, 2025, through June 5, 2025.
+ The current schedule is three days a week, with 7.5 hours per day, including a 30-minute duty-free lunch.
