**Responsibilities:**
+ Meets or exceeds productivity standards set by the organization for the facility, ensuring efficiency and quality in performance.
+ Accurately prepares time records in accordance with organizational requirements, ensuring timely and proper documentation.
+ Keeps current with all necessary criteria for regulatory and accrediting agencies, such as OSHA, TJC, CMS, and practitioner requirements. This includes maintaining CEUs, professional licenses, CVs, CPR certification, TB test, and safety competencies.
+ Actively seeks professional growth, aligns with the organization's mission, and participates in educational activities, including in-service programs and community outreach as requested.
+ Completes job duties as assigned, consistently aligning with the organization's mission, ensuring a high level of commitment and responsibility.
+ Maintains accurate progress notes and professional records for all patients receiving speech pathology services, ensuring clear documentation of care.
+ Complies with organizational policies, including Corporate Compliance and HIPAA regulations, and promptly reports any unethical or illegal conduct as required.
+ Provides appropriate diagnostic and evaluative services to all clients, coordinates treatment plans, and ensures confidentiality and accuracy in all financial, statistical, and administrative reports related to speech pathology services.
+ May in the course of their job duties be in rooms where medications are stored. No contact with medications is allowed.
Required:
+ MS, MEd or MA in Speech-Language Pathology
+ Knowledge and skills required to provide quality customer service
+ Knowledge of normal human growth and development over the lifespan
+ Must be able to read, understand, analyze, and interpret medical record documents
+ Must be skilled in planning/organization, follow up/control, delegation, problem solving, self-development orientation, organizational behaviors/competencies, and stress tolerance
+ Must possess the ability to apply principles of logic and strategic thinking to a wide range of problems, and to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills
+ Ability to identify referral growth opportunities
+ Demonstrated ability to interact with healthcare team, coworkers, supervisors, and all members of the Corporate Management Team
+ Must complete all mandatory competencies for system, CRS business unit and/or facility
+ Must complete CRS Orientation, Facility-specific Orientation, and Department Specific Orientation(s) where appropriate
Preferred:
+ Active participation with health care industry professional organizations
**Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:**
CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competency) or meet the educational requirements for certification and be in the process of completing his or her Clinical Fellowship year. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire. Speech Pathologists license required for state in which employee provides services.
