Position Summary
Evaluates and treats speech-language disorders/disabilities for children and adults, provide appropriate recommendations for treatment and prepares complete and timely reports and documentation.
Primary Position Responsibilities
1. Evaluates Speech, Language and Swallowing disorders/disabilities
2. Provide therapy for targeted disabilities
3. Maintains acceptable patient care productivity
4. Completes thorough diagnostic reports and documents daily progress
5. Counsels and educates patient/family
6. Communicates with other essential medical personnel
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Required:
â— Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
â— Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Preferred:
Doctoral Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):
Required:
1-3 years in a healthcare setting; dysphagia experience; may consider CFY candidate.
License, Registry or Certification:
Required:
NJ Dept of Consumer Affairs Licensure Speech-Language Pathology (or eligible for).

Required:
Computer proficiency, good communication skills
