Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
Our Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA) enjoy professional autonomy, but they also benefit from the camaraderie of being considered part of the school community and the special education team. This position offers a school-year work schedule, allowing you to work during the academic year and enjoy summers and school breaks off. Our Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) will report directly to a Cross Country Education Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) and assist with supporting students at multiple schools. They will provide direct services in accordance to student goals, ensuring they have the best possible outcomes in classroom activities, social interactions, learning, and literacy.

Compensation and Financial Perks: Hourly Rate: $33 - $48 Weekly direct deposit Paid drive-time and mileage reimbursements for travel between school sites Communications Stipend (dependent on position & hours worked)

Requirements: A valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license in California Completion of a certified program of study designed to prepare you to be a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Six months of experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in a K-12 setting (1 year preferred) Willingness to travel to multiple school sites Flexibility to adjust to change that best supports students’ needs
