Trinity Health of New England is looking for an experienced Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist to join our mission-driven team in our Inpatient rehabilitation department at Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital.
The SLP is a member of a comprehensive care team responsible for evaluating and treating patients with mild—moderate cognitive deficit and neurological disorders, including patients with diagnoses of stroke, traumatic brain injury, concussion, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, brain tumors. Disorders include dysarthria, apraxia, dysphagia, aphasia, cognitive-communication deficits, voice, and fluency disorders.
Responsibilities:
Performs comprehensive evaluations.Establishes functional goals based upon evaluation results targeting deficit areas, to help patients achieve a maximum level of functional independence.Provides professional interaction with patients, family members, interdisciplinary team members, and other staff members and colleagues.,completes all documentation in accordance with professional, organizational, and regulatory compliance standards.Requirements:
