Requirements: 

Master’s degree in Speech Language PathologyCurrent license (ABESPA) as a Speech Language Pathologist issued by the State of AlabamaCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association (AHA)

About the Job:

Provide comprehensive evaluations and testing, speech therapy treatments and education to patients who have speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders as well as patients who have problems swallowing in accordance with State Regulations and departmental policies.Plans, develops and implements a result-oriented treatment plan responsive to the individualized needs of the patient and includes clear, measurable goals. Modifies the treatment plan according to the patient's responses.Offer guidance, training, and support to staff and parents on speech therapy matters.Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.
