Speech Language Pathologist - PRN

Starr Regional Medical Center is currently seeking talent to fill the position of Speech and Language Pathologist for our Therapy Department. This job is permanent, PRN.    
 

Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following: 

Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition. 

Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family. 

Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress. 

Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services. 

Fully Licensed SLPs Only: 

Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.

Minimum EducationMaster's of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology: □ Preferred X RequiredRequired Licenses[Tennessee, United States] Speech-language Pathologist
Current Speech-Language Pathology License in State of Tennessee:□ Preferred X RequiredORCurrent Provisional Speech-Language Pathology License in State of Tennessee with the expectation to obtain a regular Speech-Language Pathology License in State of Tennessee within 12 months from hire:□ Preferred X RequiredRequired SkillsCertifications:The below certifications will be required at the time of hire:X Basic Life Support (BLS)
