Job description Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Acute Rehabilitation Hospital Location: Rancho Mirage, CA Employment Type: Full-Time Contract (13 weeks with the possibility of extension) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Pay Rate: $85 per hour (Local) Travel Package: $3,800 weekly gross (Travel Stipends Included) Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at an Acute Rehabilitation Hospital in Rancho Mirage, CA. This full-time contract position offers a competitive pay rate of $85 per hour for local candidates and a generous travel package of $3,800 weekly gross for travelers. The initial contract is for 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on performance and hospital needs. Responsibilities: + Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments. + Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. + Provide therapy to patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. + Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care. + Document patient progress and maintain accurate records. + Educate patients and families on treatment plans and strategies. Qualifications: + Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. + Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in California. + Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred. + Previous experience in an acute rehabilitation setting is a plus. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
