What You’ll Do:
+ Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
+ Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques to maximize patient recovery and functional outcomes.
+ Provide education and guidance to patients, families, and caregivers to support rehabilitation goals.
+ Coordinate with the care team to ensure a smooth transition from inpatient rehab to home or outpatient care.
+ Supervise clinical fellows, students, and support staff as needed.
+ Maintain clear and thorough documentation to track progress and outcomes.
What You Bring to the Team:
+ Maine State Speech-Language Pathologist license (or ability to obtain) required.
+ Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) by ASHA preferred (or willingness to obtain within 1 year of hire).
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
+ Strong clinical skills in cognitive-linguistic, speech, voice, and swallowing therapy.
+ A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication and patient education skills.
+ Compassion and a passion for rehabilitation!
